Cupcakes and Fairy Cakes

Sweet Journey Bakery & Catering made these cupcakes and fairy cakes for The Great Play Date @ Mernda Village Community Activity Centre earlier this month.

Now can someone tell me what is the difference between a cupcake and a fairy cake?

    Cup cakes just have icing on them, To make fairy cakes You cut the top of the cake cut in half then add cream and put the two halves on top of cream to make look like fairy wings
